Culver-Stockton spring game set for Saturday

Culver-Stockton College will conclude its spring football practice session under new head coach Cameron Keller with the annual Blue and White spring football scrimmage this Saturday, April 17, at Ellison Poulton Stadium. The scrimmage is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

The scrimmage will consist of two 15-minute quarters and the 40-second clock will be used to make play appear as close to game conditions as possible. The game will be scored by a point system developed by the Culver-Stockton football coaching staff.

The Wildcats return 36 players from last season’s team, including the Heart of America Athletic Conference’s leading tackler Brent Holtrop (Frisco, Texas / Centennial HS) at linebacker.

The Wildcats are scheduled to open the 2010 football season at home on Saturday, Sept. 4, against Central Methodist University. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
