Friday night at The Backyard

Game 1
QND 14, Central-Southeastern 5

QND trailed 5-3 before scoring 11 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning all with no out. Olivia Shepard hit two single-RBI triples in that inning and Karlee Gengenbacher hit a bases-loaded triple in the inning.

Kelsey Ley 4 hits, including a one-out inside-the-park solo homer in the bottom of the third inning. Shepard finished with three hits.

Dawn March led CSE with three hits, including a leadoff triple in the fifth.

Game 2
QND vs. Peoria Notre Dame called with none out in the top of the fourth inning because of lightning and rain. QND led 3-0 at the time. It will not count as an official game.
