Friday, December 18th:
QND JV (65) defeats Pittsfield JV (22) in Game 1 of the Rumble on the River for Friday, December 18, 2009. Jamie Ehrhart paced QND JV with 14 points, including 10 in the first half. Pittsfield JV was lead by Laura Chamberlain's 9 points.
7:30 PM Highland v. Pittsfield (girls)
The Pittsfield Lady Saukees defeated the Highland Lady Cougars, 38-31, in the second game of the Rumble on the River on Friday, December 18, 2009. In a game that was close from the start, Pittsfield led at half 22-16, only to see Highland tie the game at 27 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Pittsfield's defense rose to the occasion, however, limiting Highland to just 4 points off free throws in the 4th quarter. Pittsfield was lead by Marla Willard's 15 points in the victory. Highland got a gritty 10 points from freshman Ashton Luttrull.
