JWCC men stay alive, women's season ends

The host Trail Blazers jumped out to a 34-22 halftime lead and then ran away with the 38 point victory. Brylin Brown’s 19 points led JWCC and Ryan Stuckman chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. John Wood now travels to Shawnee Community College this upcoming Saturday to compete in the quarterfinals of the Region XXIV tournament against the #2 seed Lewis and Clark Community College at 4pm.

#4 Parkland 75, #5 JWCC 62

The Lady Blazers season comes to an end on the road in Champaign, IL. The host Lady Cobras ended JWCC’s season in the quarterfinals of the Region XXIV tournament. Devin Wombles lead the visitors with 20 points and Hillary Held’s JWCC career comes to an end with a 17-point outing. JWCC’s season ends with a 17-14 record overall, Parkland moves to 24-7 on the season.
