The game was tied 1-1 until Springfield scored
three goals in a span of 3 minutes, 31 seconds during the second half. The third
of those goals -- Jake Stults' third goal of the game -- came in the 52nd
minute.
Stults also had an assist, while Zabian Morris
scored a goal and had an assist for Springfield.
Alex Rinella scored twice for QND in the 16th and
52nd minutes. Rinella's goal came only 31 seconds after Stults' third goal.
Connor Reis assisted on both of Rinella's goals.
Springfield outshot QND 5-4.
Springfield now 3-0-0
QND now 0-1-1. Plays at Jefferson City Tuesday,
hosts Sacred Heart-Griffin Wednesday (JV at 4, varsity at 5:30).
