E-mail This StoryKshipra Datar, Miss Quincy 2010 and Aisan Raisdana, Miss Gem City 2010 will compete June 19, 2010 at the Miss Illinois Scholarship Pageant to be held at the Dellora Norris Cultural Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois vying for the title of Miss Illinois 2010. Both local titleholders were crowned March 27, 2010 in Quincy during the Miss Quincy Scholarship Pageant.
Kshipra Datar, 21 from Quincy is the daughter of Kiran and Shubhangi Datar she is a marketing major at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her platform for her year of service is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention.
Aisan Raisdana, 21 from Northbrook is the daughter of Dr. Jalal Raisdana and Forough Fariborzi. She is a medical student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Illinois Community Health Centers is her platform for her year of service.
The Miss Quincy Scholarship Program and the Miss Illinois Scholarship
Association are preliminary pageants to Miss America, one of the nation’s
leading achievement programs and the world’s largest provider of scholarship
assistance to young women. Last year the Miss America Organization and
its state and local organizations made available over $45 million in cash and
scholarship assistance
