Outdoor concert series to begin

The Quincy Park District is offering a series of outdoor concerts beginning June 17 at Madison Park, 24th and Maine. Be sure to bring your own lawn chair. 

 

How much do the concerts cost?
Nothing. They're free.

What time do the concerts begin?
All concerts begin at 7 p.m. Concerts will begin on June 17 and continued for the next four Thursdays.

What is the schedule of concerts?
Friday, June 17: Piano Man: A Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel

Thursday, June 24: Rod Stewart Tribute

Thursday, July 1: Chris Vallillo, an Illinois folk music tribute

Thursday, July 8: Abba: A Tribute to the Music of Abba

Thursday, July 15: Decatur Park Singers

 

What happens if it rains?

In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to the Emerson Community Center, 1310 Washington.
